|
|
| ... is an intriquing backcourt hoopster for D3 and other small colleges. Last year Zimmers deferred to the seniors V/MickeyB per scoring. But at about 6' he played wing and had a few nice double digit games while concentrating on "all the other stuff" that makes a team go. He's athletic and strong, good hops and shoots and rebounds well with pretty good handles. Really a smart, Smart, SMART player. A pretty good driver off the wing in fact. What would be interesting is if small colleges didn't think of Zimmers so much as a SG/SF wing player but rather a PG type of player. If Wyandotte's coaching thinks to play Zimmers as PG this year that might also help, although they will probably play Zimmers at wing to get more scoring out of him and also because they have some pretty good young JV PG talent that's up and coming. However, D3 and other small college scouts and coaching, coming to Wyandotte to see a really nice combo PG/SG prospect in Zimmers should be well worth your while this year. Zimmers will be competing night in and night out against the best talent wise in the state, with the toughest league competition top to bottom in the state no question! So if Zimmers can do it in The Downriver League, you know he can do it for your D3 or small college!! |

| Probably better than half the top twenty guys in the PSL though! But that's not much of a Kudo to Zimmers! |
